Well, it’s official. Germany’s fears have been confirmed; captain Michael Ballack will not be participating in South Africa this year. After a sloppy challenge by Portsmouth’s Kevin-Prince Boateng (are you KIDDING me?!) Ballack went limping off during this past weekend’s FA Cup Final at Wembley.
