It's not like it's that much of a big deal, anyway: I haven't seen one single happy Bayern fan so far, and there was close to no celebration on Munich's streets. And when I remember how it was in Stuttgart last year... Well, it was awesome because they weren't expecting anything and nothing was planned. I'd rather win the title once in ten years and have the whole city collapsing than getting so used to it there's no reason any more to celebrate, but that's my personal weird taste and I'm always one to root for the underdog ;) But yes, even though I do have some problems with Bayern, I'm very okay with it. (I've ignored all TV reports and especially avoided to hear Hoeneß talk about the title so maybe that's what keeps me happy) Well, I didn’t think I’d feel like this even a week ago, Luke. I am not sure I was feeling as gracious at this time last year. On the other hand, Stuttgart restored my albeit only slightly weakened conviction in the metaphysical impossibility of Schalke winning the Bundesliga. Perhaps we can peacefully root for an Unterhaching promotion to the 2. Liga, Bayern fans don't forget their "debt" to Unterhaching, and the more opportunities to see high level football in the Munich area, the better right? Rumor has it the club is negotiating a special policy with Allianz whereby Toni will actually be allowed to bring the salad bowl home for a night... That’s very gracious of you Anna. The soon-to-be Mercedes-Benz-Arena. Good to know the salad dish didn't get any scratches after almost an entire season.
