Pável Pardo contract terminated

By: 21 | January 4th, 2009

After seventy-one matches for die Schwaben, Mexican international Pável Pardo has had his contract terminated so that he can return to América of Primera División de México. For the thirty-two year-old defensive minded Pardo, it will be a return home as he played with América for seven seasons before coming to VfB.

In leaving VfB, Sport Director Horst Heldt spoke very kindly of him, wishing him the very best but also stating that he will always be a part of VfB. He equally added the pioneering efforts he, along with Ricardo Osorio, made in being the first Mexico born players in the Bundesliga, continuously exemplifying professionalism.
