VfB makes a smart move
By: 21 | January 8th, 2009
As Pável Pardo waved farewell to VfB to return home to finish his career Club America in the Primera División de México, I have a strong feeling the club is making a wise decision to hammer out strong ties to the Football community in México. The club is going to great lengths to extended lengths to the El Tri defender but additionally try to be received well in the area. This is particularly important as many European clubs get a bad reputation from Mexican players abroad and doubly important as you consider Aarón Galindo leaving Eintracht Frankfurt for Chivas today.
A smart move that could prove very worthwhile in the future.

True. He and Ricardo Osorio had shown that it is possible. With the right attitude, nationality is not an issue at all.
Ah…I am already missing Pardo.

You mean to great extended lengths?
Though, how is Stuttgart selling Pardo to a Mexican club vs Frankfurt selling Galindo to a Mexican club make Stuttgart great ambassadors of European-Mexican relations and Frankfurt a negative example?Posted from

And he only had nice things to say about the club, saying it was like a family to him. Excellent international relations. Are you hoping a permanent channel will open up, with up-and-coming Mexican players funneling straight to the VfB?

I think Pardo left at a good time. He’s getting older and he accomplished what he wanted to. Not many can achieve what he did during his time at Stuttgart.

Juliet wins! jajaja
I have it on very good authority that this is being worked out and something to “count on” in the future.
I will check back in the morning -
